Company History

In 1994, Equisoft was incorporated and went in to business providing commercial software that met the specific requirements of the equine industry. By 1996, Equisoft had developed a full line of mature programs that required little code maintenance or added features. This made it possible for Equisoft to begin exploring new ways to satisfy a broader range of customer's needs.

More Consulting Information

In 1996, Equisoft began offering consulting services for anyone requiring a database driven software application. The list of clients that are satisfied customers of Equisoft developed applications include:

Pepsi Cola was delivered a purchase order requisition tracking application developed using Microsoft Access.

Newell - Rubbermaid

Newell - Rubbermaid contracted Equisoft staff to augment an Access database that recorded phone usage for all of its subsidiaries. The new features included an import routine that read phone usage from a vendor's CD and placing the cost in the proper cost centers for accounting department as well as creating text files used by the main frame to process payments to the vendors.

Fermilab

Equisoft staff developed a complete database driven application that tracked vendor contract submittals for review and approval by the engineering department. Bar coding and advanced intranet reporting using a browser were two features that set this application apart.

City of Janesville Wisconsin

The city of Janesville contracted Equisoft to provide a database driven application that would track emergency vehicle activity. The database was used to track ambulance runs, fire department calls, patients treated and emergency teams used in each case.

Enzyme Bio-Systems

Equisoft staff developed an inventory control system that involved a Unix based accounting package, an IBM mainframe process control system, and 20 personal computers using Microsoft Office to generate documents, sales reports, invoices, bills of lading, product testing documents, and inventory levels for enzymes of various types.

Peak Staffing

Peak staffing needed an application that would allow them to use dial-up connections to synchronize data with remote offices and lap-top computers used in the field to manage assignments, clients, and resources. Microsoft Access was used as the database for it's native replication capabilities. Microsoft Visual Basic was used to develop a user interface that can be learned in less than one day.

CHC Combined Health Charities

CHC of Madison Wisconsin was delivered a database driven application that tracked donations for multiple charity drives and allowed CHC to generate mailings that targeted donors based on past activity. The  interface kept data entry simple and handled complex splits of deposits, and scheduled donations allowing CHC to spend more time administering and promoting campaigns without increasing staff.

This is just a short list of customers that include dozens more that have been completely satisfied by services rendered and software delivered by the Equisoft team. As you can see, Equisoft has expanded its expertise to include any database driven application that requires a PC or Web interface.
